Ok guys thinking of taking Helix 7 off my boat and using it for ice fishing. What type of ice bag, charger, battery and transducer you all would reccomend for the best set up. Thanks!

Humminbird makes an ice kit for the Helix 7 that runs somewhere from around $200 to $250 depending on what kind of a deal you find. Make sure you get the kit with the correct transducer to match your unit (chirp vs nonchirp). Another option is to use a Genz Box to mount your Helix 7. I use this on my Helix 7 and it works very well also at a lower cost. You will need to get power cable, a transducer and of course the Genz Box. As far as a battery, I use a standard 8maH battery used in many ice fishing depthfinders and by turning down the light intensity from 10 to 5, I can use it for a full day, but some guys use 9maH batteries or even Lithium batteries to extend battery life.
It all depends on how much you want to spend.

I just put one on a vexilar pro pack with a ram mount and works great. Cord, transducer and a lithium battery is what I did.
