Helix 5 sonar for ice fishing

Hey Guys, I am looking for some advice with my helix 5 unit. I purchased a Helix 5 G2 pt unit and im looking forward to using it more this season. I will mostly fish for Lakers in about 20 to 50 feet of water. What would be the best settings for ice fishing using the xi 9 20 transducer.

I used it a couple of times already but i cant get the settings quite right do i have to change the settings every time i go deeper or shallower.

it seems like as soon as i go deeper then 25-30 ft the unit is slower and not at clear as it should be.

set the max depth to manual and adjust from there – that will likely clear up your issues

You need the xi 9 1521 to get the chirp performance out of that unit.
