HELIX 5 or 7 Side Imaging

    Are the new G2 models that have SI, built in to the unit, or is it the transducer? I have a G2 HELIX 9 on the boat with SI, and want to use my ice unit in the boat as another unit, but don’t want to buy it if I network the 2 together ,I’ve heard it will use SI off the transducer running my 9. If it is built in is it a big help finding fish when you’re hole hopping?

    you need to have both an si head unit and si transducer to use si

    You CAN share SI data from an SI head unit to a non SI head unit over the network

    Only if units are networkable. (G2N)
