Helix 10si vs helix 12 chirp si

I’m in the market for a new helix I have a9si at the moment and am looking at a helix 10 si and a helix 12 si chirp is the 500$ difference worth it for the 12 vs the 10 any input would be great thanks

To me it is, but I have a 10″ dedicated to SI and right next to it a 12″ with dedicated 2d & mapping.

There was a time when I did it all on a 7″ screen. More screen size is more better

Thanks fbrm the 12 will be here tomorrow hope the hd transducer is better then the one that came with the helix 9 we’ll try it out this weekend

one thing to keep in mind is that if you are networking your units, the Chirp has to be turned off on the Helix 12 for other Gen 1 non-chirp units to be able to receive sonar data.
