Helix 10 sonar adding SI transducer will it work

    First post for me and new to the new electronic.
    I bought a new boat and was having a helix 9si and a helix 10 sonar installed. This will have the humminbird 5 port switch box installed and 360 on bow. Have to try the 360??

    Looking more into the helix 10 sonar and adding SI transducer XHS 9 HDSI 180 T . Will this work as a combo?
    I think as it’s all linked together it would.
    Why i ask is Helix 10 Si $1499 and Helix 10 sonar and SI transducer $1010
    I can do two Helix 10’s for the same cost of the Helix 9-10 combo.

    no you can’t use a SI transducer to get SI on a non-SI unit, but if networked, you could display the Helix9 SI transducer readings on a non SI unit..
