    Hey everyone,

Has anybody ran into the issue where you set the shallow depth highlight and it highlights the shallow area and the deepest parts of the lake? I will set mine to 5 and it shades the deepest parts of the lake red… I can’t figure it out for the life of me, hoping someone here has some insight.

From what I’ve been told it is a know error that is supposed to be addressed in a future update. Super annoying.

Thanks for the quick response! I’ve been running Helix for years but just upgraded to the Helix 10 and noticed it for the first time. I thought I may have found a hidden map setting or turned something on and couldn’t find it again. Not the end of the world, but I definitely don’t like it when I’m ripping across a newish lake and I have all these shallow areas that are actually deep holes haha.

I’m thinking about going back to the version before the new release, has anyone else tried that?

I found the issue and now I understand what they meant.

I say software updates are always sketchy, especially from companies that aren’t true software companies that just tinker in embedded sw. If a particular vintage of sw works, stick with it until you know there is something you need in a future update, or you get the be the guinnea pig that finds issues like this…
