Can anyone with a Clam Yukon XL Thermal or Nanook XL Thermal tell me the height of it collapsed with the seats removed? I want to see if it will fit under a landing I have in my garage for storing.

    Thanks in advance!

Just measured my Nanook XL Thermal- with seats removed, it’s about 13.5″ high from the floor to the top of the poles when folded down. You could fit it in a 14″ gap but it’d be a tight squeeze with the canvas. 15″ or more you’re good to go.

Thank you for that info., looks like the Nanook will fit for sure, I have about 16.5″ of clearance.

The Nanook XL is a really sweet size for a portable. I was thinking about selling my Yukon and downsizing to the Nanook XL. It’s only negative is the sled is not as deep, but that is also a big positive to some people as it fits in a lot of vehicles that otherwise couldn’t fit a two man. It’s a great portable.

Another positive of the Nanook XL is that with one of the seats removed it makes a really nice and large oversized one man house.

Yeah. I’ll try and get to it today. Ron is right. I had the old Nanook before my Yukon and it is the perfect one man. Perfect for having a deadstick next to you and having plenty of room to actually use it.

I love my Nanook XL. Like said earlier, it’s great as a one man. Very spacious for one guy and manageable for one guy as well. It would be nice if the tub were deeper when there’s two guys but it works for what it is. I’ve never had any problems and I’ve had it out at least 20 times. (side note, get the seat covers that are sold separately.) They’re worth it
