Heart Hunters

There’s a new group emerging on Facebook called “Heart Hunters”. The idea is to share joy and smiles for the kids of your neighborhoods by taping paper hearts to your windows for them to see as they walk by. It’s a good idea to get the kids out and at least take some walks through your neighborhood to get some fresh air, and this way they can also spend the time looking for houses with hearts! Some are doing teddy bears and have also suggested changing over to decorative eggs for Easter soon. So I added some hearts to my window to share in the fun! Anyone else taking part in this or at least seeing some hearts? Feel free to share photos! It’s happening all over the US!

I made a giant heart for my office window this morning. I didn’t realize our windows are a bit tinted so it’s not as visible from the street as I’d like. But the view inside my office is great!

Ah, that explains a lot. I was wondering what was going on.

My neighbors are doing it.

MY neighbors have a big window with a rainbow made of hearts. Now I know why.

Take some photos and share them! I’d love to see their artwork.

We should see if they can move this to the main page. We did this with our daughter Sunday morning.

My neighborhood has done shamrocks for St Patty’s Day, and it now doing stuffed animals in the windows. My two year old really appreciates it and so do my wife and I. The walks keep the whole family sane.

Apparently there is a “bear hunt” thing going on. People put teddy bears in the windows and the kids walk around the ‘hood and see how many they can find.

I love that people are making the best of a tough situation. But the real question is – where are @dutchboy and his hearts in the windows.

Dutchboy & hearts? Really. It’s a well know thing at my house I have no heart at all.

I swapped my hearts for Easter eggs! It was fun to think like a kid for a bit, get out some markers and start drawing!

A local dental office was plastering their windows today with hearts of all colors. Kind of neat how this has taken off.

We aren’t much of a hearts or egg people over here. Some people have been doing candles for healthcare in our hood. We kind of merged the two so I took back out our blowup lightup Xmas unicorn. Brings more joy for us and passersby. Did put it away today tho, hooligans are running around nowadays.
