It depends on someone’s choice of what kind of earplug he wears for shooting. But hearing protection is indeed very essential to control hearing from permanent damage. Some people use electronics earplugs, earmuffs, generic, foam, silicon, and so many earplugs. But I think we need to make the right choice because our perfect decision gives us perfect safety.

Without my hearing aids I am very near to legally deaf. Both hearing aids have noise suppression, but I still wear good muffs and without the hearing aids. The concussion does more damage I think than the bang. Good muffs go a long way in softening the concussion.

Rock and Roll in the 70s wasn’t good for my ears either. I worked for Starkey Labs and got custom ear plugs and game ears from them. Kinda pricy to buy as a customer but there a good product.

We need to choose the right earplug to protect our hearing. But there are so many types of earplugs and all are good. Recently, I found a site on google https://www.bigearinc.com/products/best-ear-protection-for-shooting which I would like to be share here. This site contains a lot of electronic earplugs with a variety. This site is very new to me and never seen before so I don’t have any idea about them. Here anyone deals with them?
