I am looking for options for hearing protection while hunting. Was wondering about people’s experiences with nonlinear hpd, which I read is used by military and law enforcement. Nervous about a mechanical (electric) device and the possibility of failure so leaning towards plugs with filters.
Not sure what nonlinear hpd is but if you are referring to noise cancelling earmuffs I have a few buddies that hunt with them. I also use them at work during training and they work great. Even if your batteries run out it still provides some protection.
