    BAD NEWS ALL:

    From Senator David Osmek:

This bill was heard in Energy & Environment today, and did pass. It was amended to make it a slight bit better, but I still see it as completely superfluous and about as impactful as a spit into the ocean. And at the cost of $300,000 to $400,000 annually, we have better ways to educate people on AIS.

This bill is now set to go to Senator Tomassoni’s finance committee. Please watch the Senate website and I will try to alert you. We need people to come down and testify against it.

    Dave

I’ll send out the ALERT as soon as I hear when that hearing will be. (

where was this quote taken from?

This was from an email from Minnesota State Senator David Osmek in reply to my email about the Hearing today.

I questioned if there was a record of the Vote, No, Voice Vote, but he replied that in Finance they’ll try to have to records the Votes.

Could not make it over there today had emergency service call on a security gate out of town.

I don’t understand taking the time to pass a revisory bill while the same law has multiple repealer bills against the law. If this revisory bills ultimately passes before any of these repealers get solved it will be a waist of time and money spent if one of these repealers passes a vote in the legislate.

Yes, Multiple REPEAL BILLS, but they can just sit on them, then they are DEAD!

We need to get more calls and emails coming in to the Committee Chairs and our own Senators to put pressure on them to REPEAL!

I am going to be there for the next hearing, just have to make up the time.

The worst thing is these Senator’s as Committee Chair’s have lots of power which includes KILLING anything they don’t like!

Just talked with Senator Millers office (sf85) pretty much what their saying.

So, like you say we must put preasure on our senators to preasure Senator Marty to hear the repealer bills.
Also put preasure on the other Senators sitting on the committee.

I will be at the next meeting also.

Carroll, I know you’ve done a ton already but if you get a chance post some email address please.

This bill is now set to go to Senator Tomassoni’s finance committee.

This would be a good email ad to start with.

    He couldn’t believe it.

That is what I’ve been hearing from Resort Owners going to out of state Sports shows, etc.

The Tourism Promoters in other states are taking this and lieing to people whom say they are going to Minnesota, hurting our resort Owners, etc.

Telling of Online Test and Big Fines for Violations, etc.

We have a compaion bill(hf1065) in the House for SF669 not yet the same as the senates.
I see a problem that could potentially leave us stuck with what have now.

Looks like the senate committee is sitting on the repealer bill.
Now if the House sits on the revisor bill were stuck, foobared.

I have to ask this. Stick to the guns and go all in on repeal.
Or support the revisor and still push for the repeal. I know this could send a wrong message.

We cant have what we have now that’s for sure. There still is time to amend the revisor some more in the senate. We are going to get something and from what I see written above in the link a lot has been conceded and changed from the origanal law.
