    A sure sign of spring!

George the retire lock operator from L&D #3 posted some photos of bluebirds just lately.

When the sun is out it’s melting snow and feeling pretty good!

Bad news is that we still have to get through MARCH!

Great time to consider a Lifetime License! More so if you’re over 50 years old.

Ya I wish I had taken advantage of the non-resident lifetime 16 years ago when I turned 51 years old. I would have broke even right about now. Still might consider it just as a hedge against inflation.

The lifetime license deals are pretty good. I got mine maybe 7 years ago and I figured that, at the rate at the time, I would break even in my 50’s. That was before they went up a year or two ago, which will make that break-even point come even sooner.

My son is 8 months old and I need to get moving on getting his, I think it’s less than $400 if you’re under 3 years old.

Couple years ago my wife and I got ours, then I’m working on my 7 month old son and the niece and nephews!

I know the why a lifetime license holder has to print out a license but I’m thinking there’s an easier way to track how many people are fishing in MN.

    Can’t even afford Hamm’s tonight!

Best Deal: 3 and under $344.00
    Over 50 is $379.00

I’m still wondering why they have the conservation license. Our family seldom keeps fish and we never (well haven’t yet) taken a one day limit…so this year with my lifetime license, I can keep a limit.
Favorite Daughter and wife got a conservation license for $18.00 each. Normally I would get them a regular license but since there’s been plenty of time for it to get taken off the books, I have to assume they want us to use it.

Saved me money for my next 30 pack and change.

My wife and I have a couples conservation license. It’s not a lifetime license. It’s half the cost of a normal angling license and allows us to keep half our bag limit. I almost exclusively bass and muskie fish so I rarely keep any fish.
