Still rocking my milwaukee. It’s been through hell and back in the concrete cutting world. Still works great.

Thanks tim. We posted at same time. Site is not letting me quote you and post(getting old).

That might fit my needs just fine. Appreciate the suggestion!

    Had the 65.

If your gonna go with anything under 350 lumen might as well grab a home Depot special lamp.

2 reasons I’ve stuck with LED LENSER

    (1) It’s a great headlamp

    (2) same parent company as Leatherman and whenever I have a problem with a headlamp they simply send me a new one, even after 5 years.

Now that is the first logical IDO answer to this question. Bigger is better! Probably see him walking around in the dark from the moon.

Can you eliminate the stupid top of head strap on the nightcores?

Even if you could you wouldn’t want to as the weight would have it fall off/roll over IMO bc the front base isnt that large.

Hate those top straps as well as the big battery packs on the back. I use a red light while walking to and from my deer stand. For all those reason I just stick to the Enigizer ones.

Depends on the model. Some don’t even have the top strap and some are removable. If you really want it gone you can always cut it off too.

Glad to see I’m not the only one that hates the top strap.

Never got the need to have the headlight of a 747 on your forehead but to each his own.

I’m also in the cheap light camp, the Nitecore was a gift and haven’t been compelled enough to buy another.

Gonna get this guy and get a bumper sticker on my ice shack that says my headlamp can eat your headlamp.

Been a big fan of this one. Basically a 18650 right angle flashlight with a harness that puts it on my head. The top strap is NOT needed.
