heading to mille lacs this weekend

Heading this weekend for the first time in my clam. Have a good map on my fish finder just wondering where to launch out of for good Walleye and perch fishing and depth etc.

Lots of resorts have roads open from $10-$12 day passes.
Northside: Red Door Resort
East Side: Nitti’s Hunter Point
South side: Chapmans- Isle Bay, Brandt’s – out to 7 mile reef

Your Morning bite is going to be from 6am-9am not much during the day unless you’re moving around in the mud. Night bite in themud and gravel/rock piles transitions between 4pm until they decide to stop.
Deadstick- Plain hook / minnow 6″-1 foot off bottom ( rainbow chubs or fatheads)
Jigging- Orange/ perch / red glow with part of a minnow. and when a fish comes to look don’t stop jigging.
