Anyone been there? the Walleyes look to be on the small side but the Jumbo Perch and Smallmouth look to be good, any tips will be appreciated.

Fished the lake lots this time of year for lots of years. Mostly for eyes and mostly trolling.Used mainly deep little rippers. Every day is different try top to bottom. Also look for pods of fish and jig hair jigs and jigging raps. Check lake link barry drews from 9 pines posts regularly on bug hatches and the bite. Good Luck.

Late summer and fall you may have lots of floating weeds.
we use snap weights when trolling to help shed them before the get to baits. Slip bobber weeds for perch and eyes. I use south end boat landing gogebic county park. That way you never have to worry about a nasty wind catching you. It is the only protected one.

From pictures shared by a friend of mine that guides there the smallmouth bite is excellent.
