Anyone add the steady cast heading sensor on a nema 2000 network on their units? Is it worth the trouble? Any thoughts greatly appreciated. I already have a nema 2000 backbone installed so it wouldn’t be much trouble.

I don’t have that particular setup, but I added a heading sensor onto my humminbird system. Works amazing for knowing exactly where you’re at in relation to a waypoint. Can typically get a good judgement from it and make a cast or pitch directly onto say a rock pile.

Biggest challenge is finding a spot to mount it that isn’t affected by electronics and motors that can create magnetic fields and interference.
