HDS8 with a P66 not getting water speed data. HELP

I just installed a HDS8 with a P66 W/Lowrance Blue Connector 50/200 Depth/Temperature/Speed. I’m having trouble getting the water speed data to overlay. I found water temperature and ground speed, but water speed is not on the list.

Did you select your transducer in the Sonar Setup? Maybe that is not allowing the water speed option.

I think on the on the HDS 8 hit menu, menu, sonar settings then select Installation, then scroll down and select your transducer and save.

In the Installation menu is also where you will calibrate your water speed.
