my ice35 flasher unit finally went out after running it for 10yrs. and i’ve decided to convert my HDS7 GEN2 into my new icefishing unit. but i’m unsure where to start? i’ve started looking at which ice transducer will work with my unit but i’m getting mixed results. if someone who has gone this route before can link me to the correct one that’ll be great!

You will need the Lowrance ice transducer with the blue connector.

I put my hds7 gen 2 touch in a genz box to use as a spare, the only issue i had with touch screen on that setup was not good enough ground to work the screen,so I ran a stub of wire off the neg terminal to touch with one hand while worked the screen with the other

I was going to mention this, glad someone else chimed in because I forgot to add this yesterday when I saw the post. The Gen 3 touch are fine because you have buttons but with the gen 2 there are so few it would be frustrating without proper grounding.
