Can I run 2 seperate Ethernet cables from an hds7 & hds9 to an hds12. Or do I need the NEP-2 to link everything together? What i want to do is tie my HDS9 at the bow, and my HDS7 at the dash, to the HDS12 also at the dash.
Yes, you can run a separate cable from the 12 to the other two. I have a similar setup with two hds8’s connected to an hds9. If you put a mapping chip in the hds12 in can be used by all the graphs as well, nice feature.
Thanks, that is good to know. I am new to Gen 3 Touch. I know that you could put a map chip in my old HDS 10 and it would show up on my HDS 7 at the bow.
I’m considering to upgrade on HDS12, do you have any another recommendation for same fish finders?
