Thoughts on the HBird 898c si

    I have a friend considering purchasing this unit. Please weigh in with your thoughts both positive and negative. Thanks in advance!

    Fantastic unit! I started with the 900 series, and my only complaint was the screen size. I wanted it more visible throughout the boat, so I jumped into the 1197.

    I got one about this time last year and I love it. It’s hard to take your eyes off the screen with all the detail it shows so watch out.

    I personally own an 898cSI and love it. I also use an 898cSI for work and love it. The 8″ screen is more than enough, although a larger screen would be nice. But so is having an extra $1k.
