Would I want to set the chart speed to the boat speed while using the SI? Say if I were running the boat at 3 mph then have the chart speed set at 3?

The boat speed is not a direct “setting” to the screen speed. What worked good for me, was to adjust the screen speed faster/slower until I got the most clear image for that given speed. I generally do my scouting at about 4.5mph. From there, if I slow down, I bump the screen speed to adjust
