    dealer was trying to sell me humminbird 386ci getting a lund rebelxl 1625 for madison lakes and mississippi river fishing any thoughts on a good unit thanks to everyone

    You can spend a lot of cash here. It’s all about what your budget can handle and what you feel the value of a quality fish finder is. I’m running the HB 997 and 917 in my rig. If you don’t want to spend the kind of cash it takes to get into the side imaging, I would still recommend getting into an 8″ or larger screen (HB 958c).

    The 386 would be a little small for a primary unit in my opinion but this type of decision often comes down to budget. I’d advise you get a larger screen… but how does that fit with your wallet?
