Just wondering if anybody knows if hummingbird is going to get into the handheld gps market? Just got my second Lakemaster chip for my boat electronics. It would be great to utilize those same chips in the winter with a handheld.

This isn’t a handheld per se but it is a great GPS unit for the ice guy. HB’s 385 ci. It has a 3.5″ screen which is bigger than most handhelds which makes it much easier to read, particularly when moving. It can read the Lakemaster chips and can make use of the Lakemaster / Humminbird exclusive features like depth range highlight, water level offset, etc.

I’ve been using this one on the wheeler and snowmobile this winter and so far I’m really digging it.
