788ci Transducer mounting bracket?

    I recently bought a 788 and in two months of use the plastic transom transducer mount has broken twice. Humminbird was good enough to replace it the first time at no cost. I am wondering if other people are having the same problem and are there any other options as far as the cheap plastic mount?

    I have the 788ci and have had no problems over the past 3 years. How is yours breaking? While traveling or some other situation?
