What kind of picture is displayed on the sideimaging screen when the boat is out of the water?
The reason I ask is when I bought my boat it came with a 997. The side imaging has not worked since day one. At best I get a choppy reading here and there, but for the most part there would be no reading. Humminbird customer service told me the only way I can really test it is when I am out on the water. I’ve tried all of their troubleshooting ideas on the water and finally had time to bring it back to the dealer. They said it is now working in the shop, but I’m wondering if I should have them test it in the water?
