I installed an HB 858c on the bow of my boat. I have a 2 year old Minnkota PD 70# 24 volt trolling motor with the US2 hookup (built in transducer). I have the HB running on the built in transducer and every time I turn the motor on my depth goes from really accurate to tens, hundreds, and even thousands of feet off. I have messed with the various settings in the unit but have had no luck figuring out what the issue is. It only happens when the motor is running so I am guessing it is mistaking the tone of the motor for the depth reading. Has anyone else had this issue and does anyone have any idea how to fix such a problem?
