Is there a way to verify that my new 2010 LakeMaster chip is working correctly in my 997? The 997 came preloaded with the Navionics maps and I’m not sure how to tell which map is currently active and how to switch between the Navionics and Lakemaster maps? Thanks!
Hit the menu button a 2 times, go to the chart option and check out the bottom of that list. If you have the depth highlight, shallow water offset, and the lake list options, your chip should be working.
You can also prees the menu twice and tab over to the chart menu. Then go down to where it says card select. You have the option to choose what card slot or map you want to display on your unit. If you are running a LakeMaster Card you will want to go in a choose the card slot that the LakeMaster card is in. This will help the preformance of the Map.
