Interlink/update problem

I recently updated my two 997’s and re-wired my Interlink system with the new “4 times faster” wiring set-up. The problem I’m having is intermitant, when I try to save a waypoint on one unit I hit the MARK button and nothing happens. Sometimes I can go to the other unit and save the waypoint….the other day I found a rock pile and neither unit would mark it. All connections are tight and clean. I tried both units in my drive-way the following day and things worked as they should. I know Humminbird had a bunch of bad Interlinks but this one worked fine until the update and the new wiring. A friend is having the same problems, he has a 998 on the console and a 957 on the bow so I think this is a glitch with the recent update. Anyone have any clues? thanks

I would contact Humminbird ASAP cuz it takes them 4-5 days to get back to you and it seems like they will have a question or two. Then it is another 4-5 day before they get back to you.
