Map Loading…

    I finally got my boat out today with the 2010 Lakemaster…very cool features with the depth range highlight, etc..

    One question, though, on my Garmin 178c when I zoom in or out or scroll to another location on the map, there is no delay in the screen coming up. I notice with my 1157 when I do those things, it takes like two seconds and says ‘Loading Map’ or something like that. Is that normal? I did, in fact, download the update and install, so I don’t think that should be the issue.

    must be normal, mine says loading also, I have the updates to run lakemaster

    Sounds like the GARMIN has a faster processor.

    Hmmm? That’s crazy talk. That garmin is 5 years old.
