WOuld you mind posting those pics here? I would love to see them as I will be using my 1197 this summer on millacs for open water trolling and need to know what I am looking for.

Tech, here is a link to a previous post of mine. The third pic is of larger fish (presumably 14″ Sauger). The first two are of bait fish (presumably shad).

Did you need just baitfish shots or any pods, whether baitfish or game fish?

Here are a few…

1 pods of alewives on lake michigan. Any thin straight lines you see in these shots are downrigger ball marks
2 Alewife pod
3 Alewife or other baitfish (or algea cluster??) in a harbor on LM
4 Alewife / downriggers
5 King salmon / possible small alwewive pod. Note you can see this very clearly on the SI
6 Crappie and Sheepshead on a S MN lake
7 Same as 6
8 Pod of King salmon
9 Kings
10 Loosly scattered kings, cohos, browns, or steelhead
11 suspended crappies and gils, possible pods of smaller baitfish, algea/plankton (?), etc..
12 Suspended crappies
