Minnkota US2 trolling motor transducer & 997?

    Does anyone know if a Humminbird 997 can be hooked up to a Minnkota Trolling Motor Universal Sonar 2 built in trolling motor transducer? It looks like a Universal Sonar 2 adapter MKR-US2-8 should work. Just wondering if anyone has used this adapter or has a solution for this install short of buying another transducer? Obviously it wouldn’t have side imaging but only looking for 2D.

    yes it will work but you will not have SI it would be like having a HS ducer only
