Wiring H 998c to circuit box?

    Good morning,

    I have run the wires from the H 998c under my dash, and low and behold every slot on the circuit box is full. I still hope to use the previous Lowrance locator. So here is what I did. I double up the red with red into one wire connector and the black to black with another wire connector. I should have power and ground.

    Does anyone foresee any difficulties? Could I have done anything different?

    You could always pull the wires to something useless….i.e horn, tilt and trim gauge.
