1197 on Skeeter 1880 what RAM Mount

I was about to get a 1197 to put on my 1880 skeeter except I dont have a ton of room between windshield and steering wheel. I was looking at the RAM mount that is made for 1197 but I am not sure if it is long enough to get it up where it needs to be. Anyone have this setup and could help with opinions on best way to fit an 1197 on the full windshield 1880 skeeter.

A pic would be great, I have gone away from the Ram mounts, To easy to steal and not solid enough for the bigg screen units, maybe in a glass boat it would be better but when my tin boats get to crashing those waves, seems like everything will rattle out of place.

I would take a look at these Stabil mounts…very solid mounts.

I put my 1197 on one of those giant ram mounts — 2.5″ ball, I think it is. Anyway, it’s perfect and I wouldn’t consider swapping it out for any other option.
