    Good luck!

You should be able to locate pods of ‘eyes way out to the side if that’s your goal. I know I’ve seen lots of salmon on Michigan this way…

Where are you going out of? My 1197 contributed to catching a lot fish that I would have passed by otherwise. The SI enabled me to easily find a lot of bottom transitions that gobies and fish were relating to near Peele. God, I miss that place. Good luck!

Doesn’t sound too bad at all!

I’ve always had that trip in the back of my mind but have never pulled the trigger. What’s the best time of year to go? What’s the typical lure spread consist of? I run an 18′ Lund out of western lake Michigan. We have to pick and choose our days at times due to wind, but usually its ok… What are conditions usually like out of that port?

Good luck with the new HB!
