help with the 998

    just ordered the 998. looking for some advice on starting out with it. any tips for the rookie. always had lowrance products so any advice would really help thank guys

    Congratulations on your new Humminbird!

    My suggestion is to read through this forum and soak in all the excellent information. I’d also invite you to ask any specific questions you have about mounting and installation. We have some staff and members here who are real pros at it.

    Take a look at all the posts in this forum from the last year or so… Some excellent info, and lots of images.

    Also take a look at halfen’s website…. Some very good tutorials and info!
