Waypoint Transfer Question

I have a question about transferring waypoints from a Humminbird (1197) to a Lowrance (LCX-25c).

I have the HB mounted at the console and expect to use the side imaging a lot for marking weed edges, etc. My thought is that I’ll drop waypoints along the edge and then go back and cast the waypoints/route. I know this is super easy if I buy another HB for the bow and get the system to link them, but my wallet is sore after spending the money on the 1197. Is there a way to transfer waypoints from the HB to the Lowrance? I assume it’s not possible to do that in the boat, but boy would it be great if I could.

My guess is that I’ll be looking at waypoints on the HB unit behind me for most of the summer. Good thing I got the big screen.

I don’t know if this supports HB (doesn’t look like it, but I would give it a shot) – but I was able to transfer from garmin to Lowerance with this on my home computer:

Buy Navionics Explorer for $20. It allows you to manage waypoints, convert, etc. Also, register your Humminbird unit and get the Humminbird software (cannot remember name), it helps manage waypoints also.

No way that I know of to do while on the boat.
EasyGPS (at home ) will do it.
