I’m looking at getting a 898C SI. Looks like the typical price is $1500. I know they are well worth it but that’s still a pretty good investment. My question is do you get everything you need for $1500. It appears you get the unit and transducer but what about the GPS? Do you also need a puck? Are there any extra cables needed? Just wanting to make sure if I take the plunge I know what I’m getting into. Thanks for any advice.

Everything you need to hit the water is included. Transducer, GPS puck, wiring, etc. Enjoy, and let us know if we can help as you get up to speed.

Thanks for the quick reply Jason. I have been reading your posts and articles, great information I will surely read again and again. Your posts are a big reason I’m going with the SI unit. I thank you but my pocket book probably doesn’t.
