Sonar zoom while in sonar chart view

With any split screen application, you can choose which side of the screen you want to control (right/left)… From there, generally you have full control over each portion of the screen. Without actually sitting in front of my 997, I’d have to say I don’t really know… But my guess is that you should be able to fully control each side, which would include zoom, etc. Maybe Jason or the other guys here know for sure…

yes you can just need to pick the active side then adjust. can do anything lowrance can. I also have a lowrance still for my bowmount but love the side imaging of my 1197

I’m the guy who lives in the culdesac right by your house – I talked with you the other day while walking my daughter in the wagon. Anyway, I wasn’t able to zoom the sonar when I was playing with it the other day. I had the sonar side selected as the active side but when I tried to zoom, it didn’t and a got an audible signal that was different from the signal I got when the action was successful.

I was able to zoom the sonar in “sonar/sonar zoom” view however. ??.
