797 Down Imaging

    The 797’s are going to get the Down Imaging updates as well. They are not out yet but they are coming. All SI units will have DI.

    I got the same info….now that is a great company. Finding a work around to make DI work on the 797cSI`s. Just can`t ask more from a company then going the extra mile. And the best part not charging for that EXTRA mile.

    Did you hear that news right from Humminbird? I have a 797 side imaging unit and Humminbird told we in an email in November that because of the processor in the 797, down imaging would not be available as a software update. They did say that the Lakemaster update was coming in January (have not seen that yet either). That would be great news if it can be updated for down imaging.

    Have the word direct from Hbird 797cSI`s will be able to use DI. No word on when it will be availiable for download yet. Other units the download is ready but not for the 797cSI`s yet.

    The 797 updates are out. Log into your Humminbird.com account and download the update.
