Converting .PNG to .JPG – batch convert

    For those of us who can’t upload .PNG images (not sure why, but I guess thats the way it is – some can, some can’t)….

    I have been using a free program called FastStone. You can get it at download.com —

    It will allow you to do a batch conversion. Simply add the ones that you want to convert to .jpg, choose the output folder and rename options, and you are set. Takes under a minute to choose options and resize a good sized batch. Much faster than doing the images one by one.

    Great suggestion for multiple pictures – I had just been opening my pictures in paint and saving them as .jpg. This should help when I catch more then 1 fish a night!

    Thats exactly what I was doing with my SI .PNG picks.. It works, but its slow….

    …and if you want to do a little more with the images, you can try PhotoScape (Google it). But that would only be if you wanted to do some interesting effects and clean up to your photos. If you are just trying to batch process files, the other one would probably be easier and simpler, since that is it’s only function (I think).

    to do batch conversion, you can employ this image converter iam using now, i think it is effective and support the png to jpg conversion, you can have a try.
