I need your guys help. I just got done with my electronics upgrade. I moved my 788cihd to the bow, and installed my new 859cihd onto the dash. I got 2 as-ec-qde cabels and the as-ec-15e. Got power and the universal sonar seems to be working as well as the new transducer I ran for the 859cihd. It does however seem that they are not talking….when I hit the network options on the 859cihd I only see the 859, nothing shows up for the 788cihd. Do I need to change some settings? I even tried to save a wThanks for the reply, I actually called and got into one of the cabins, thanks for your time and we will see you memorial weekend. know if you have any ideas….thanks

Set both units to factory default and then powerdown, then repower. When repowering first turn on the 859 and have it completely boot up then then the 788.

the 788 will need a software update to version 6.81 to ethernet with the new XX59 & XX99 series. I just did this with my 788 CI HD DI.

That was the problem, just did the update and the two are talking….however that leads me to my next question, on the 859 there is a network tab in the menu where I can pick what one I want to use as a source and name the unit and everything, but for the life of me I cannot find a place to do this on the 788cihd….any ideas on this as well? Thanks guys

I would just select the 859 as primary source and install map chips in it as it has a much faster processor.
