I’ve seen the new Ipilot terrova and see the transducer connection on the base of it. What is the name of the cord you buy that connects the terrova transducer to your Hummingbird graph? And do you get it from Hummingbird or Minn Kota? Thanks

I think all you need is the Universal2 adapter cable. Humminbird website explains it pretty good and yes you can order it from them. Then just make sure they go to the right humminbird graph you have.

MKR-US2-8 for all hummingbirds except Onix. That one is -13 at the end.

Are you talking IPilot or IPilot Link. IPilot does not hook to your Hbird.

The universal sonar in the terrova motor housing who’s cable routes up through the shaft and desends down the coil power cord between the base and head has a connector that with the proper connector cable connects to various fish finders.

And according to the chart I connect the Universal sonar on my I pilot, not I link, to my 859 Bird with US2-8. Correct ?

Yes, the one end screws into the knurled connector coming from the trolling motor, and the other end secures into the receptacle that has the transducer connector shape. If using multiple transducers then a transducer switch would have to be incorporated, the TS3. But if the only transducer that will be connected to the fish finder is the US2, then all that’s needed is the -8 adapter cable.
