electronics question

I had a Lowrance unit go bad this last year. I currently have a hummingbird down imaging unit. I want to compliment this unit with an affordable unit that will not interfere with the existing HB unit. I want a unit mainly for the gps feature and to save waypoints. what would be an affordable unit that could get this done? will another HB unit interfere with the existing unit if both transducers were on the rear of the boat? I use the Terrova and the I-pilot remote while fishing. So I usually stay in the cockpit area while fishing.

They would probably interfere.
What you might want to look into is using one transducer and split the signal between them,
or share with an Ethernet connection

Does the trolling motor have a us2 sonar? You would get more coverage along with a new unit that would include the added gps desired.

Or you could trade in your new transducer to Humminbird for a trolling motor version like I did.
