Almost all of the rivers I fish are not charted by Navionics or lake master. I do fish pool 2&4 a handful of times a year so I probably will pick up a card. I haven’t looked into which cards work with the 998 since it wouldn’t of swayed me one way or another. What are my options and which do you prefer? Do they a base map loaded like my elite 7?
lake master..any interest in selling elite 8 buddy just bought a boat
I will be keeping it unless I trade for a comparable bird since it is on the bow and the 998 is going on the back.

the 998 should have a basemap already in the unit check the box it’ll say on there.if you eventually want to upgrade to the link you will need the Lake master version 4 for your waters.if not going to link the Navionics will probably cover more waters both Wisconsin and Minnesota
