Humminbird 997 Combo Issues

    I disconnected my Humminbird 997 to get the serial number to epdate it. When I plugged it back in and tried to reset default settings it made a loud continuos beep then the screen turned half white half black, everytime i tried to turn it on it did the same thing. i let it sit a couple hours and turned it on and the homescreen now appears but it shuts right off????

    This may not be it, but mine did that when my battery started to get low. Not dead, just low. Maybe, maybe not. Good Luck. I hope it is that easy.

    Looks like a voltage issue. Check all connections and voltage.
