Noise using 798 when using Bow mounted troll mtr

So this is mounted at the steering wheel. Works fine when I use the large 200 hp motor but when I shut it off and use the trolling motor in the front is gets interference really bad and cant be used. When you turn it off then it comes back to being good. It is not wired on the trolling motor batteries. So what else is going on. The trolling motor is a Hummingbird Terranova with I pilot. Please help with some ideas

call humminbird customer service, they can help. if its interference they have some things you can do.

Humminbird has outstanding tec reps just call them up and they will walk you thru the trouble shooting process, and get you back on track.

So I did call them and they said to update the software which then I did. Then I adjusted the noise filter and sensitivity and it seems to have helped just a small amount but still having an issue arg. Should be this hard. I will have to re-call them, but any other ideas?

Check which power cord you have connected to the unit. There are currently two available. A PC-10 and a PC-11. The PC-11 is the one recommended for all the side image units.

Thanks found out that Humminbird is actually sending me one of these so hopefully this works.
