Warranty Issues

    Anybody who has 597 HD DI Combo have or had any warranty issues with Hummingbird. Also how is the Hummingbird customer service if you do have an issue? This is going to be a onetime purchase due to lack of $$$’s and I don’t want to make a bad decision.
    Any and all replies appreciated.

    Can’t comment on the unit, but had no problems replacing a chipped transducer. They asked for a picture and contact info. Two hrs later I received the shipping confirmation. HB customer service is definitely a positive.

    Had mine since last summer and to date I have had zero issues. Haven’t used it in the winter, but awesome little unit. Got mine too BC of lack of $$ but best unit for the $$ in my opinion. Only complaint it how slow it loads the depth maps.

    I don’t have that unit as well but I had great experience with humminbird. I had issues with my ice-55 three times. Each time it required a new display and humminbird had no issues replacing it. I didn’t have to send in the bad unit first so they can look at it and than wait for the replacement. They shipped the new one overnight and than I send the old one back. Very friendly and customer service oriented people.

    Had something rattling inside my 858 and they fixed it no problem and great turn around time to boot.
