There out and available,I know Bay city hardware and marine have them in stock 715-594-3118
I ordered one from Als specialties in Roch. and will take possesion this weekend.
They cannot produce them fast enough to keep up with demand. The Links that are pre-installed on the trolling motors have been easier to come by. The accessory links have been tougher. They are out and have been released just not to many of them floating around yet.
Great post. I wanted to post something about this today as well. These motors are going to be tough to get this year. I have heard that Minn Kota has already had more orders at this point in time than they expected for the entire year (This may or may not be true, I happen to believe it). This means walking into a store and finding them in stock will be possible but tough. I have asked at several stores and they have a list started. Jolly Ann currenty have 7 Link orders from customers and have yet to get one delivered to them. We all have to be patient. The best way to get one right now is to get your name on a list. Be sure you trust the place you are dealing with. It’s always possible that a store could put you on a list and then an employee will have a buddy that wants one and he gets put on the list as well, just not at the bottom of the list. These are things to think about. At Jolly Ann, our distributor manages the list. We put an order in, and you go on their list. I trust them that they stick to their rules of ditributing the trolling motors as the orders comes in. I spoke with them today and it looks like I’ve got customers that are now 1st, 3rd, 4th and 6th on the list. Our distributor does a fantastic job of keeping us updated on ETA on their shippments from the manufacturer. If my customers orders are not filled with the distribtors shipment I will let them know a new ETA as I recieve it. So far customers have been very understanding and are still placing orders for them.
For those of you who have some time before your open water season starts. Get on a list!! You might have to pay for it in full now, but this is the fastest way to get one sooner than later.
I don’t recall right now where I heard the answer to “When” they will start delivering, but I thought it was early to mid April. This is what I remember.
They have hard water on their side. If it was open water season, it would be ugly..
I think these are getting tougher to find by the day. I get several emails a day with folks looking to see if I have any in stock. The 24v 80 Terrova link with the 60″ shaft is the most popular and will be the tough one to find.
If you really want one this summer, now is the time to start thinking about getting yours ordered.

Just bought the last one at the Cabela’s in Owatonna
Ben:
I knew their had to be a catch I currently have my 2 – 1198’s linked together via ethernet. I just picked up the i-pilot link on monday and I found out that if I still want them to share information I need a 5 port ethernet switch, which is gonna cost another $200 So what are the pro’s cons of the 5 port switch vs. using a interlink box in conjunction with the i-link
Thanks for the info
You can’t connect the I-Pilot link to anything other than by ethernet cable. Interlink does nothing for you. Lots more advantages with ethernet.
Don’t forget the additional two ethernet cables you’ll need. The trolling motor should have come with one you’ll need, but if you want all three to be linked together, you’ll need two more ethernet cables (about $40-$50 each). Yes, this stuff is pricey! If you only want to link the trolling motor to one unit, you’ve already got everything you need to get started. Ethernet is their future for hooking together accessories though, and once you have it, you have it.
Kinda feels like you just got by Humminbird though doesn’t it?
Once you get everything linked you get some nice benifits. like watching your transom sonar on your bow unit or watching your bow sonar on your console unit. just by a few menu clicks. plus after you get the ethernet hub then you have room to add the 360 lol.

Yeah, It does
I was just hoping to save a few bucks I guess by going with the interlink
The guy at cabela’s said that the interlink wouldn’t operate the i link, but I could at least still share my waypoints. However if I went with the ethernet switch I could not only share waypoints, but I could control the interlink
I hope I got that right
