Sounds like 360 Imaging is finally becoming available. After sounding like it was going to be available last Fall, it was delayed (probably working out the rough edges).

I heard from Kim Stricker of the TV show “Hook & Look” today and he said he is going out tomorrow with a rep from Johnson Outdoors to try it out for the first time (I’m sure somewhere farther South in open water). Would be nice to see someone actually use it. The filming is just happening now so he said it won’t get on to their show until the last 2 episodes this spring.

Hook & Look does as nice a job filming as any show I’ve seen so hope it sheds some light on not only how it works but if the quality allows you to locate structure/fish better. Gotta kind of know those things before considering dropping $2k…

That would be a heck of a tool for catfishermen. It would be nice to know if a particular hole or log jam actually was worth fishing.

It looks like there is a separate price for the mounting bracket.
Is that correct and how much does that cost?

I talked to the Humminbird rep at the Mpls Boat Show yesterday – he said about $300…maybe a little more depending on cables, connectors, etc. I think all in with tax your looking at a bout $2500.
