    I bought this display model (never used, never wired) because I needed a depth sounder, it was cheap, and the model 60 had a good reputation. Got the orig. box, transducer, cables, but no manual.
    Silly me… I wrote Humminbird tech support asking;
    1. How much current does this sounder draw?
    2. What should i use for a fuse in the power circuit.
    Their answer: Sorry parts are not available for this unit.
    You should consider buying a more modern HB unit.
    So…
    Anybody old enough to remember anything about this depth sounder? The transducer is a round “puck” with absolutely no mounting attachment points.
    Thanks for help for an old timer.

    If it is like the 200dx model you can use a 3-7.5 amp fuse and be safe.

    That sounds reasonable. Don’t know what the DX might be… distance? digital? Prolly not digital, and no date on the unit or the box. 1982, I’m guessing. Anyway this is a WP200. Price tag of $269 is still on it. Guess I’ll just have to calculate how much amperage it draws after I get it up and running. If it works, it should be visible from several feet away… the display is 6″ square. There’s a “noise reject” knob, and an on-off/ “sensitivity” knob.
